Things I learned in Door County, and other areas of Wisconsin

Don't wear barefeet in a bar, or you may slip on a spilled drink and broken glass. "Midget" girl bled everywhere, got kicked out of the bar, and then returned (bandaged) 30 minutes later. At least Johnny Holm band was rockin the hiz-ouse.
Kate is a great host. She made us toast and cooked a pizza... and has the cutest apartment in all of Menomonie.
The fourth weekend in September is a great time to view the changing leaves in Northeastern Wisconsin. The whole trip up to Door County was beautiful. It makes the drive seem shorter for some reason.
Sometimes birds die when they hit the sliding glass door... and then you kick their head off and it's filled with ear wigs. Freakin sick.
I love apple cider donuts. The are quite magnificent. The coffee shop in Ephraim is a great place to relax... and eat a half dozen of them.
Jake likes to text message while playing drums. And the more drunk Jake is, the larger his hair is.
Matt is a very creative guy. Check out his magnetic man! He's clearly dropping a deuce while reading a pocket bible.
Jake is a decent waiter. Actually, a very good waiter.
I can skip rocks! The first time I skipped a rock successfully was in Ellison Bay.
