Sweaters

http://www.sa-cinn.com/cowichansweaters.htm

Check out these sweaters! It looks like they purposely designed them to have boob accent spots. Take a look at the killer whale one. Oh man, August 29, 2007 birthday present.

The Baobabs

http://ronemmons.com/nature/baobabs/

I think my favorite line is, "In some parts of Africa, people believe that poets and musicians are possessed by the devil, and that their bodies will pollute the earth if given a normal burial. Thus they are consigned to the bowels of a baobab."

Heh... bowels...

Recalled coke ads.

This was on Snopes.com. They have a database of rumors and hoaxes and stuff and say whether they are true or not. This one was true. Apparently, the artist included some "suggestive imagery" in one of the ice cubes as a joke. The posters were printed and displayed until someone saw it. Coke had to destroy the posters and fired the artist.

Scary dolls!

This guy does some sort of art stuff, making creatures out of doll parts. Check this out!

Quote of the day

"I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won't fall down."
- Mitch Hedberg

Yotastic! Whip

Yes, I'm eating a Yotastic! brand Whip; whipped Strawberry yogurt with other natural flavors. It's delicious. It's fluffy. I'd even describe it as yotastic.

Old school nintendo shows...

Digg also had some posts regarding the Nintendo-themed shows from the days of old.

First, we have the Zelda cartoon. Apparently, Link sometimes said "Excuuuuuse me, Princess!" A few times...watch this compilation video and find out what I mean.

Also, fun to remember is the Super Mario Brothers' Super Show ending song..."Swing your arms from side-to-side..."

Priceless.

Damn, yo. Peep these babies.

Saw this on digg a few minutes ago. Looks like some kids found a gallon of paint that was left around. Ahhh, yes...parents that don't watch their children get what's coming.

Snow Days

Snow days are bittersweet. On one hand, there is the snow. Sledding, snowballs, you get the drift (PUN INTENDED). But on the other hand, there is the snow. Car crashes, shoveling, wet socks.

When will Minnesotans learn how to drive in the snow? It happens EVERY YEAR, so it's nothing new. It's as though the second a snowflake falls on a road, everyone panicks and forgets how to work their car. Turn signals become useless. Lanes become things of the past. And god-forbid anyone press the button that makes the car go faster. Just leave yourself some stopping distance and you'll be fine.

It's not as though everyone just wants to be safe, because you KNOW that in only one day people will be back to their normal selves.

Maybe I just wish snow days still had the same connotations they used to. School is cancelled and I get to stay home, sleep in, and play video games. Later I can get up and have fun.

Well, I'm off now to make a website while all the kids enjoy another snow day (at least they would have had it off anyhow, with MLK day and all).
